Thousands of people all across England celebrated the second annual #TableTennisDay in style.

The main event was in Nottingham withh special guests 2014 Commonwealth Games medallists Kelly Sibley and Sam Walker and the evergreen Desmond Douglas.
Table Tennis England’s major event was held in Nottingham, with special guests Commonwealth Games 2014 medallists Sam Walker and Kelly Sibley and the one and only Desmond Douglas.
The chance to take on one of the star players had Nottingham’s citizens flocking to the tables – and there were plenty of other fun challenges too, including ‘choose your weapon’, ‘around the world’, ‘bling your bat’ and the robot challenge.

2015 British Cycling Elite Circuit Series hits the streets of Sheffield again

The 2015 British Cycling Elite Circuit series made its fourth visit to the streets of Sheffield again tonight in the event now sponsored by Sheffield Hallam University.

In the main race, Jon Mould (One Pro Cycling) came into the event ahead of David McGowan (Pedal Heaven RT) and Evan Oliphant (Raleight GAC).  but it was Tom Scully (Madison Genesis) who took a fine solo victory on the night - winning by over a minute after a breakaway with 18 laps left.

 Second went to Jon Mould (One Pro Cycling) with Andrew Hawdon (Ralaigh GAC) in third.
